Let's get started!
A lot goes into planning and making a unique piece for each person. Here I'll walk you through the process of planning out your own special pony and you'll have the opportunity to submit your ideas to me if you like what you've come up with. Happy creating!
Choose your pony's body style
Your first decision will be to decide what body style you'd like your pony to have. Generation 1 is the oldest while Generation 4 is the newest. You'll see me refer to these as G1, G3, and G4 respectively. I cannot make a custom out of a Generation 2 pony because most of them are damaged or they've become so old that their plastic is hard and unworkable. I'll need to be able to remove the pony's head in order to give it new hair, so that plastic needs to be at least a little bit soft!
Choose your pony's body type
Body type is different from style. Body type determines whether your pony has wings or a horn. Earth Ponies are just like regular horses, no wings or horns. Pegasus Ponies have wings, and Unicorns have horns. The look of each body type varies with each body style. If you have questions/concerns of how a certain body type will look, let me know and we'll get it sorted out :)
Now, how about a theme?
The next thing you'll need to think about is a theme for your pony. Is it for a special occasion or event? Perhaps you could plan around that. If it's a gift for someone, maybe we can work something to accentuate what makes that person special. Ponies can have just about any theme you'd like them to. Birthdays, anniversaries, dance recitals, homecoming, a film theme, a party pony, etc. You name it and I'll do my best to design it!
Ponies have a mark on their rump called a cutie mark, this is where the theme of your pony really gets to present itself. Exceptions can be made and the theme can spread to the rest of the pony's body though. Take a look at the lady-bug pony in my Prior Ponies section for an example. G3 ponies generally have a mark on one of their front hooves designating which one is its magnet hoof. Try to keep these things in mind when thinking of how you'd like your little filly or foal to look :)
One more thing to think about when dreaming up your pony should be its mane/tail colors. I have many colors at my disposal so we should be able to find something that will fit with your theme without an issue :) Two colors is standard, but you can have as many as you'd like! Curly, straight, wavy; style has few limits with the type of hair I use. No chemicals are used to style your pony's hair either, only water and a little bit of conditioner to keep frizz at bay.

But what about price?
I know the main question on your mind the whole time is, "but how much is this going to cost me?" I'll outline the standard pony below and how much that will cost, and then how much each additional feature will cost. If you really want to go crazy and have a seriously complex pony, let me know and I'll see if we can work out a deal :) Don't be afraid to message me! Also, don't feel limited by what you see below! If you have an idea I don't have listed, let me know!
